Welcome to the unofficial tribute website of Jill Dando.

This website has been set up, mainly because there was  nothing here before, as a Westonian I felt that this was a tragic loss of her memory, so I decided set up this website as a silent tribute to Jill.

The Jill Dando website will concentrate upon her life, and not her death, although some content used will have the basic facts, to ensure that as Jill would have wanted that the news carried on.

We have enabled that visitors to the Jill Dando website are able to post comments and tributes, they can also register and become editors of this website, so that if they had personal memories or photo’s then they can upload and share with other people.

We have no connection with the Dando family, the Weston Mercury or the BBC. This is a personal project to help people remember Jill Dando.

This website will always remain and is paid for from private money, no advertising or selling of products will ever take place here, we are not here to get rich on the back of someones memory, unlike some websites that spring up.

We have no association with any other domain extenstion barring the Jill Dando name, we only own www.jilldando.co.uk so please avoid any websites that request money or try to sell you products or services.

We are based in Weston super Mare, and have lived here all of our lifes, during a brief spell at the Admag as a lineage inputer, I was invited to the Weston Mercury/Admag Christmas party, to where I was introduced to Jill. Although I did not know whom she was at the time, she seemed a very lovely lady, who was shy and down to earth.

We hope that you enjoy this tribute.
